Arriving at the house
Arriving at Villa Casita, the first thing you notice is the clear vantage point. Positioned on a private, gated hillside in San Jordi, the property looks directly out over the southern coastline. The whitewashed exterior, detailed with traditional terracotta roof tiles and arched windows, stands in sharp contrast to the deep green of the surrounding pine trees.
Inside, the house is practical and well-equipped for a comfortable stay. The ground floor centres around a fully fitted kitchen and a living space that opens directly onto the main terrace. Early risers can watch the sun come up over the sea, lighting up the town and the countryside below. Central heating and a fireplace keep the house warm during the cooler months, while a music system and Wi-Fi run throughout the main areas.
Bedrooms and outdoor spaces
The villa sleeps up to six guests across three bedrooms, all of which are fitted with air conditioning to ensure a comfortable temperature during the summer. Three bathrooms serve the house, two of which are en-suite, giving everyone plenty of space and privacy to get ready in the morning.
Outside, the stone-paved terrace wraps around a large swimming pool, flanked by a wooden deck and wide sunloungers under white parasols. A covered dining area sits just outside the main house, complete with a barbecue for cooking outdoors. From this table, you can see right across Playa d’en Bossa and Cap Falco.
The grounds are fully fenced, featuring a large lawn and a garden dotted with mature palm trees and cacti. A table tennis setup provides an easy way to pass the time in the afternoon, while various seating areas offer quiet spots to read or look out towards Formentera.
Daily life at the villa
With its secure grounds and even layout, Villa Casita works very well for families or a group of friends wanting a quiet base with quick access to the south coast. The alarm system and safety box provide peace of mind, while the private parking area makes it straightforward to come and go.
A typical day begins with coffee on the balcony or down by the pool, making the most of the sunrise view. After a morning swim, guests often gather at the al fresco dining table for a long breakfast. The afternoon might involve reading on the rattan sofas under the shade of the covered terrace, or playing table tennis on the lawn before heading out for the evening.
Exploring San Jordi and Ses Salines
The villa is located in San Jordi, a highly practical area just minutes from both the airport and Ibiza Town. Driving south from the house takes you straight into the Ses Salines natural park, a protected landscape defined by its historic salt pans and flamingo lagoons.
This southern stretch of the island is known for its chic beach belt. The beaches of Ses Salines, Es Cavallet, and Sal Rossa are all a short drive away. Here, you will find a mix of clear water and well-known beach clubs like Sa Trinxa and the Jockey Club, offering a lively atmosphere right on the sand.
Despite being so close to the island's main hubs and fashionable coastal spots, the villa's elevated position ensures you remain removed from the crowds. It is a very simple drive to pick up fresh supplies in the nearby village of San José or to spend an evening walking around the old port in Ibiza Town.
