Flights to Ibiza from the UK and Ireland: every direct route, airline and flight time (2027)

More people fly to Ibiza from the UK than from any other country. This is every direct route from British and Irish airports, who flies it, how long it takes, and how our British guests match their flights to a villa week.

The UK is Ibiza's biggest market by far: in 2025, 1.87 million passengers flew between the island and British airports, almost twice as many as from Italy, the next country on the list (Aena, the Spanish airport operator). That traffic means a direct flight from almost every corner of the country. Here is every route, who flies it and how long it takes, followed by the details that matter when the flight is only half of the plan and the other half is a villa.

The routes below are those flown in the 2026 summer season. Airlines publish their summer 2027 timetables over the winter, and new routes are usually announced in that period. We will update this guide as they appear; always check the airline's website before you book.

Choosing your flight

Entry rules after Brexit

As of October 2026, for British citizens on holiday:

Irish citizens travel as EU citizens, with a valid passport or Irish passport card, and none of the above applies.

Planning the villa week around your flights

When to book. Most of our guests confirm their villa between January and March. For the May half-term and the school summer holidays, the larger villas go first, so book as soon as the group agrees on the dates.

What a villa costs. Prices are for the whole villa per week, in euros. They depend more on the month than on anything else: our Ibiza Villa Rental Price Index shows the median weekly price for every month, size and area, updated daily, and our guide to Ibiza villa prices explains what is included. On top of the weekly price you will see a refundable security deposit and the Balearic sustainable tourism tax, charged per adult per night.

Only book a licensed villa. Every holiday rental in Ibiza needs a tourist licence (ETV). Our guide to checking a villa's tourist licence shows how to verify one in a minute. Every villa we offer is licensed, and you receive a written quote and contract in English before you pay anything.

Groups. Many of our British guests travel for a big birthday, a family get-together or a wedding. We have a selection of villas that sleep 12 or more, family-friendly villas and villas that accept weddings and events.

From the airport to your villa

Ibiza airport is in the south of the island, near Ibiza Town, and the whole island is only about forty kilometres long. Indicative driving times, outside peak traffic:

From the airport toAbout
Ibiza Town, Talamanca15 minutes
San José, Ses Salines15 minutes
San Antonio25 minutes
Santa Eulalia25 minutes
Cala Vadella25 minutes
San Juan35 minutes
Portinatx40 minutes

Almost all villas are in the countryside. You can drive with your UK photocard licence; remember that Spain drives on the right. If nobody in the group wants to drive, we arrange the transfer and a driver for the week.

Where to stay

The east around Santa Eulalia suits families, the south-west has the beaches and the sea views, the north is quiet countryside, and the hills close to Ibiza Town put restaurants and nightlife within a short taxi ride. Our guide to where to stay in Ibiza compares every area.

How we help guests flying in from the UK

We are a local agency on the island. Send us your dates and your group, and we reply with a shortlist of licensed villas and exact prices, checking that the changeover day works with your flights. Before you land we can book the airport transfer or a hire car, stock the kitchen, and arrange a private chef, a boat day to Formentera or restaurant tables, each at a price we confirm in advance.

Your passport must have been issued less than ten years before the day you arrive and be valid for at least three months after the day you plan to leave.
