A Traditional Ibicenco Farmhouse
Can Melanie is an authentic traditional farmhouse positioned on a hillside near the village of San Agustin. The property is fully fenced and private, offering extensive views across the surrounding countryside and out towards the sea on Ibiza's west coast.
Inside, the design relies on classic island architecture. You will find terracotta tiled floors, thick white walls, and original wooden beamed ceilings. These historical elements are paired with minimalist, high-specification furniture to create a comfortable, functional environment for your stay.
Living Spaces and Guest Casitas
The main house contains three of the six bedrooms, alongside a fully fitted kitchen that includes a sunny breakfast table. This space flows directly into an indoor dining area, while the spacious main lounge opens straight onto the exterior pool terrace.
The remaining guest accommodation is spread across three independent casitas situated within the grounds. Each of these garden suites is configured with twin beds, an en-suite bathroom, and direct access to its own terrace, granting extra privacy for members of your group.
Outside, an L-shaped swimming pool is bordered by a lawn area, stone paving, and luxury wooden decking with sunloungers. A wide, wood-beamed roof shades the primary al fresco dining table, and a separate wooden pergola in the garden houses a second outdoor dining setup next to the barbecue.
Designed for Families and Friends
Sleeping up to eleven guests, Can Melanie is well suited for large families, groups of friends, or couples holidaying together. The division between the main house and the three separate casitas means early risers can enjoy their morning coffee on the terrace without disturbing those sleeping in the garden suites.
Days here revolve around the water and the outdoor living spaces. After a morning swimming in the private pool or listening to music on the sound system, groups can gather for lunch under the shaded pergola.
As evening approaches, the west-facing orientation becomes the focal point. Guests can sit on the wooden decking or the lawn to watch the famous Ibizan sunset light up the sky and the distant sea, before moving to the main terrace for a barbecue dinner.
Cala Bassa and the West Coast
The villa is located in the Cala Bassa area, an excellent base for exploring the sheltered, white-sand beaches of the west coast. Cala Bassa itself is a family-friendly bay shaded by sabina pines, known for its calm waters and the popular Cala Bassa Beach Club.
Just down the coast is Cala Conta, another highly regarded beach famous for its clear water and sunset vantage points. Both beaches are easily accessible from the house and offer easy boat access for those looking to explore the coastline from the sea.
For wider amenities, the town of San Antonio sits just across the bay. It provides a contrast to the quiet pine-fringed beaches, offering large supermarkets, pharmacies, and a wide selection of restaurants and maritime services.
