Can Orange is a traditional finca-style home set across a 15,000-square-metre gated estate in the Sa Carroca countryside. The approach to the house takes you past centuries-old olive trees and the property's own working vineyards, establishing a slow, rural pace from the moment you arrive.
Inside, the architecture reflects the island's heritage. Heavy rustic wooden doors open into spaces defined by thick white walls and ceilings supported by traditional juniper beams. The layout is practical and grounded, connecting the main living spaces directly to the gardens and terraces, allowing the natural surroundings to remain a constant presence throughout your stay.
Living Spaces and Grounds
The central living room serves as the main gathering space, featuring comfortable seating, satellite television, and a fireplace for cooler evenings. Adjacent to this room is a dedicated reading or working space with a desk. The fully fitted kitchen connects the interior living areas to the outdoor dining spaces. The house sleeps eight guests across five bedrooms, which include one king-size bed, two queen-size beds arranged for single occupancy, and four single beds. These rooms share two full bathrooms, each equipped with a shower and bidet.
Outside, a large terrace runs along the front of the villa, offering a shaded dining table and outdoor seating. The swimming pool is bordered by sunloungers, fruit trees, and native flowers. A covered outdoor kitchen area features a built-in barbecue, a traditional wood-fired pizza oven, and a long dining table, creating a highly functional space for preparing and eating meals outdoors. The grounds also include a lawn and a dedicated play area for children.
Pace of Life
With its flexible sleeping arrangements and extensive grounds, Can Orange works well for extended families or groups of friends. The single-level layout and wheelchair-friendly design make it accessible for guests with varying mobility needs. The large estate also provides a suitable setting for private events, while the alarm system and safety box offer peace of mind.
A typical day often revolves around the outdoor kitchen and pool. Mornings might begin with coffee on the front terrace, looking out over the cactus and palm gardens. After an afternoon swimming or playing on the lawn, evenings naturally shift to the covered barbecue area. Guests can fire up the wood oven to make pizzas or grill local produce, dining at the large wooden table as the sun sets over the surrounding countryside.
Sa Carroca and Beyond
Located in Sa Carroca, the villa provides a quiet rural setting that remains highly connected to the rest of the island. The cosmopolitan centre of Ibiza Town is just a ten-minute drive away. Here, you can walk through the cobbled streets of the UNESCO-listed Dalt Vila, explore designer boutiques, or visit the high-end restaurants and bars lining the harbour.
For beach days, the long sandy stretches of Playa d'en Bossa and Figueretas are within easy reach. A short drive also takes you to Talamanca beach and the nearby village of Jesús, or the luxury yachts moored at Marina Botafoch. The property’s private parking and garage make it straightforward to head out and explore, with the airport also located just a short distance away for simple arrivals and departures.
