Architecture and atmosphere
Built into the rugged hillside above Talamanca bay, Villa Abigail is a modern property defined by its elevation and light. The architecture uses extensive floor-to-ceiling glass to draw the Mediterranean sun indoors, creating bright, open interiors that feel deeply connected to the landscape outside. Polished marble floors and a cool grey-and-white colour palette establish a calm, sophisticated atmosphere throughout the house.
The design balances clean, contemporary lines with natural textures. A prominent stone feature wall rises through the stairwell, grounding the modern structure with a tactile, organic element. Because of its elevated position, the house feels entirely private, turning its focus outward toward the sweeping panorama that stretches from the rooftops of Ibiza Town across the open water to Formentera.
Living spaces and outdoor areas
The main living spaces unfold across the first floor in a considered, open-plan layout. A relaxed lounge area flows naturally into a mezzanine sitting space, offering both formal and informal dining options. The sleek, fully fitted kitchen serves these areas seamlessly. Large sliding glass doors open the living room directly onto the main terrace, blurring the boundary between inside and out.
The villa accommodates eight guests across four air-conditioned bedrooms, each paired with its own bathroom. The bedrooms continue the home's minimalist aesthetic, with one featuring a large circular tub positioned by a window to capture the coastal views.
Outside, the saltwater infinity pool curves along the edge of the terrace, visually merging with the sea below. The sun deck is furnished with sculptural white loungers, while a covered terrace provides a shaded spot for al fresco dining, complete with a barbecue and a music system for long, leisurely lunches.
Daily life at the villa
With its four bedrooms and varied social spaces, the property works well for families, groups of friends, or couples sharing a holiday. The layout allows guests to gather easily in the main living areas or find quiet moments alone on the terraces. The fenced perimeter and alarm system provide peace of mind for those travelling with children.
A typical day begins with coffee on the terrace, watching the morning light hit the old town. After a swim in the infinity pool, guests might head down to the nearby bay for a seafood lunch. Late afternoons are best spent on the sunloungers, looking out over the water as the boats return to the marina, before preparing an evening meal on the barbecue.
Exploring Talamanca and beyond
The villa sits just minutes from Talamanca, a sheltered and family-friendly sandy bay. The beach is fringed with relaxed cafés and well-regarded seafood restaurants, offering an easygoing coastal lifestyle. Despite the quiet hillside setting, the location is highly connected to the island's main hubs.
From the bay, it is a short walk to the yachts and dining venues of Marina Botafoch. The historic centre of Ibiza Town is also close by, providing a sharp contrast between the calm of the villa and the lively energy of the capital. The nearby village of Jesús offers convenient local amenities, making it simple to pick up supplies for the house.
