Traditional Design and Countryside Views
Can Sage is a restored traditional villa set among agricultural land in Puig d'en Valls. The property offers a quiet environment away from the busy areas of the island, while maintaining clear, uninterrupted views across to the medieval fortress of Dalt Vila and the harbour. The architecture reflects its rural roots, using natural materials to ground the structure in its landscape.
The property divides its accommodation between a main house and a separate guest house. Inside the main building, the reception, living room, and kitchen retain their original farmhouse character. Ceilings are lined with classic Sabina wood beams, and traditional tiled floors run throughout the wide spaces. These elements provide a calm, cool interior that flows easily towards the outside terraces, ensuring the house remains comfortable during the peak of summer. Air conditioning and Wi-Fi are fitted throughout to support modern living standards.
Bedrooms, Terraces and the Swimming Pool
The main house holds four of the six bedrooms, decorated in an organic colour palette that highlights the original architectural details. The remaining two bedrooms are located in the guest house and are set up as twins, offering a degree of independence for extended families or friends sharing the property. In total, the villa accommodates up to eleven guests, supported by six bathrooms and practical modern fittings.
Outside, the grounds are fully fenced and centre around a large swimming pool lined with white sunloungers. Dry stone walls, pine trees, and flowering bushes frame the water, creating a structured yet natural setting for the warmer months. For meals outdoors, there are multiple dining zones, shaded pergolas, and a dedicated gazebo equipped with a barbecue. This variety of exterior spaces allows guests to move with the sun or seek shade throughout the day.
Gathering Family and Friends
With its generous layout and separate guest house, Can Sage works well for large families or groups of friends who want to spend time together without feeling crowded. The distribution of the bedrooms ensures privacy, while the vast outdoor entertaining spaces make it easy to gather for meals or find a quiet corner to read. The secure, fenced perimeter also provides peace of mind for those travelling with younger children.
A typical day here revolves around the exterior spaces and the changing light. Mornings usually begin with breakfast under the pergola, followed by hours spent reading on the sunloungers or swimming in the pool. As the afternoon cools, the barbecue area and gazebo become the focal point for preparing dinner outdoors. By evening, the illuminated walls of Dalt Vila provide a distinct backdrop in the distance as you dine outside.
Puig d'en Valls and Nearby Jesús
Located in Puig d'en Valls on the edge of Jesús, the villa sits in a green, established residential area within the municipality of Santa Eulalia. This part of the island is highly favoured by year-round residents for its convenience, offering a quiet, leafy environment that remains remarkably close to the capital and its amenities.
The centre of Ibiza Town and the venues of Marina Botafoch are just a short drive away, providing quick access to a wide array of restaurants, shops, and nightlife. For days by the sea, the sandy, family-friendly bay of Talamanca is nearby. Alternatively, the sheltered waters of Cala Llonga are also within easy reach along the eastern coast, giving guests multiple options for coastal walks and swimming.
