A welcoming Mediterranean home
Set on the pine-covered slopes of the southwest coast, Villa Diso is an air-conditioned five-bedroom property looking out over the Mediterranean. The design focuses on ease and thoughtful details, creating a space that feels like a real home rather than a standard rental. From the main spaces, guests have clear views of the sea and the evening sunsets.
Inside, the main living area is spacious and bright, defined by large sliding doors that open directly onto the pool terrace. This layout connects the interior with the coastal landscape outside. Adjoining the living space is a fully equipped open kitchen, providing everything required for group meals. A breakfast chef is included, ensuring mornings begin smoothly before the heat of the day sets in.
Terraces, pool and sleeping arrangements
The outdoor areas are built around a large swimming pool lined with sunloungers and a shaded terrace. A Mediterranean garden surrounds the property, offering several quiet seating areas and a flat lawn. For outdoor meals, there is a covered dining space complete with a barbecue and a long wooden table, providing a practical setup for evening dinners under the warm Ibiza sky.
Four of the five bedrooms are located in the main house. The primary room features a double bed and an en-suite shower. Another double bedroom has an en-suite shower and direct access to the pool terrace. Two further bedrooms offer twin beds that can be joined together; one has an attached shower room and access to a covered terrace, while the other features an en-suite shower and its own door leading straight out to the pool area.
The fifth bedroom is situated on the lower basement level and has its own independent access. It includes a double bed and a separate external bathroom. As this room has a simpler finish than the main house, it is well suited for accompanying staff, a nanny, or as a spare room.
Designed for family holidays
With its fenced perimeter, gated entrance and proximity to calm waters, the property is an excellent choice for families with children or groups of friends sharing a week by the sea. The layout allows for communal gatherings around the dining table or pool, while the separate outdoor seating areas mean guests can always find a quiet corner to read or relax.
A typical day here starts with a prepared breakfast on the terrace, looking out over the water. From there, it is a very short walk down the hill to the sand. After a morning swimming in the shallow bay, guests can return to the house for a barbecue lunch and an afternoon resting by the private pool. As evening approaches, the west-facing position provides a clear vantage point for watching the sunset over the Mediterranean.
Exploring Cala Vadella and the southwest
The villa is located just 150 metres from Cala Vadella, a protected horseshoe cove known for its clear, shallow water. The beach is lined with restaurants, small shops and a local supermarket, meaning guests have essential amenities within a short walk. The bay itself is sheltered by pine-covered hills, creating a calm environment that is highly favoured by families staying on this stretch of the coast.
Beyond the immediate bay, the southwest of Ibiza offers several other scenic spots to visit. The sandy stretches of Cala Carbó and Cala Tarida are a short drive away, providing alternative options for beach days and seaside lunches. For a change of pace, the traditional village of San José is also nearby, where visitors can find local cafes, independent boutiques and a slower, more authentic side of island life.
