A quiet base on the edge of Ibiza Town
Villa Jesus comprises an 80-square-metre first-floor apartment set within a larger property in the Can Basso area. While the locked ground-floor rooms belong to the owner's family, they are always absent during guest stays. This arrangement ensures you have complete privacy and exclusive use of the entire grounds, terraces and swimming pool.
The setting is a green, established residential neighbourhood that appeals to year-round residents. The property is fully fenced and accessed via an electric gate, leading to a private parking area. The surrounding garden is planted with Mediterranean shrubs and mature palms, creating a calm environment just a short distance from the capital.
Terraces and open-plan living
Inside, the living room is spacious and flows directly into an open kitchen and dining area. The single double bedroom features air conditioning and is served by a separate shower room. A Smart TV, Wi-Fi and a music system provide straightforward entertainment options for relaxed evenings indoors.
The main focal point is the 80-square-metre first-floor terrace. Partly covered by a traditional tiled roof, it holds a lounge area, a breakfast table and sun loungers. From here, you have clear views over the countryside and across to the old town of Dalt Vila, which is highly visible when lit up at night.
Down at ground level, a nine-by-five-metre swimming pool is surrounded by a wide tiled terrace. An awning provides shade for afternoon rests, and there is a convenient poolside shower. A barbecue and outdoor dining setup make it easy to prepare meals and eat outside.
Designed for couples and small groups
Sleeping up to three guests, the apartment works well for couples or a small group of friends who want a comfortable, well-connected base. The layout encourages spending time outside, moving between the pool and the upper terrace as the sun shifts throughout the day.
Mornings typically begin with coffee at the breakfast table, looking out over the urban and country landscape. After a few hours reading on the sun loungers or swimming in the private pool, afternoons might involve a short drive to the nearby golf course at Roca Llisa or preparing lunch on the barbecue.
As evening approaches, the upper terrace becomes the natural gathering space. Guests can watch the sunset and see the lights of Ibiza Town switch on, before either dining at home or heading out into the village for tapas.
Jesus, Talamanca and the east coast
The village of Jesus is a short distance away, known for its leafy streets and strong community feel. It provides all the practicalities you need, including a bakery, supermarket and several dining options, such as the well-regarded Bon Lloc restaurant.
For time by the sea, Talamanca beach is just three kilometres from the house. This long sandy bay connects directly to Marina Botafoch, where you can catch a taxi boat straight across the harbour into the historic centre of Ibiza Town.
The location balances quiet residential living with quick access to the island's busier areas. The town of Santa Eulalia and the sheltered bay of Cala Llonga are also easily reached by car, offering further options for dining and swimming along the eastern coast.
