Traditional Architecture and Modern Comfort
Puig Can Fluxa is a century-old traditional finca set on a hillside in Santa Eulalia. Recently renovated, the property retains its original architectural character, featuring thick white walls and exposed wooden ceilings that naturally regulate the temperature throughout the year. The house spans 225 square metres across two storeys, providing ample space for up to six guests.
The lower floor serves as the main gathering space, opening into a bright, 40-square-metre living and dining room equipped with satellite television and a closed fireplace for cooler evenings. Adjacent is a fully fitted kitchen complete with a gas cooker and standard electrical appliances, ensuring practical meal preparation. A second living room on this level offers an additional quiet corner for reading or listening to the integrated music system.
Bedrooms and Outdoor Living
The accommodation includes three bedrooms. On the upper floor, the 22-square-metre master bedroom features an en suite bathroom and is fitted with air conditioning and heating. The lower floor houses the remaining two bedrooms, measuring 20 and 10 square metres, which share a family bathroom. All bedrooms are equipped with cooling fans for the summer months and marble stone heaters for the winter.
Outside, the fully fenced 250-square-metre plot is planted with native bougainvillea and oleander. The outdoor space is divided across a pool terrace and two house terraces, offering distinct areas for sunbathing and al fresco dining. The private swimming pool is bordered by sun loungers and straw parasols, looking out over the surrounding countryside where you can watch the sunset.
A Relaxed Daily Rhythm
Sleeping six, the villa is highly practical for families or groups of friends who want a quiet base with immediate access to local amenities. The fenced perimeter provides peace of mind for those travelling with young children, while the layout allows for shared meals on the terrace or quiet afternoons by the pool.
A typical day might start with breakfast in the outdoor dining area, shaded by the large white parasol, before walking down into town. The sea and the centre of Santa Eulalia are just a five to eight-minute walk away, making it easy to pop out for a morning coffee or a swim without needing to drive. For those interested in golf, the island's course is a straightforward eight-kilometre drive from the house.
Exploring Santa Eulalia
Santa Eulalia is widely regarded as the island’s most refined and family-friendly town. It operates year-round, built around a broad palm-lined promenade, a smart marina, and Calle San Vicente, which is known for its concentration of restaurants. Staying at Puig Can Fluxa means you are only 400 metres from the nearest supermarket and 600 metres from Santa Eulalia beach.
The area is calm and safe, deliberately distanced from the island's heavy party scene. From the villa, guests can easily explore nearby coastal spots like Cala Pada and S'Argamassa, or visit the nearby villages of Jesús and Santa Gertrudis. If you wish to visit the capital, the historic centre of Ibiza Town is 12 kilometres away, a drive of roughly ten minutes.
