A modern home with traditional roots
Set within a 1,600-square-metre Mediterranean garden, Villa Niu Blau offers over 500 square metres of living space. The design centres on light and scale, with large French windows illuminating the interiors and connecting the main rooms to the surrounding greenery.
Inside, the architecture nods to the island's heritage through the prominent use of traditional Sabina wood ceilings in the open-plan living and dining area. The space feels grounded and substantial, combining classic Ibizan elements with central heating, air conditioning, and a fully fitted modern kitchen.
Practical amenities like a utility room with a washer and dryer, a smart TV, and a music system ensure the house functions effortlessly for longer stays.
Expansive terraces and an 18-metre pool
The accommodation is spread across two floors, with one en-suite bedroom on the ground level and four additional en-suite bedrooms on the first floor. Four of these rooms feature double beds, while the fifth is a twin room. The two largest suites include French doors that open directly onto front and rear terraces.
The living area transitions smoothly to the outdoors, where a large lawn surrounds an impressive 18-metre by 5-metre stretch pool. Sunloungers on wooden decking provide space to rest after a swim, while various porches offer shaded areas for al fresco dining. The pool can be heated upon request, making it comfortable for early spring or late autumn swims.
Above the house, a vast rooftop terrace provides a 360-degree view taking in both the sea and the inland mountains. The grounds also include private parking and a garage large enough for two vehicles. For those who need to catch up on emails, the house includes a dedicated office space.
Designed for active families and groups
Sleeping up to eight guests, this villa works well for families or groups of friends who appreciate having plenty of space to themselves. The long stretch pool is ideal for morning laps, while the separate terraces mean early risers can enjoy a coffee without disturbing those sleeping in.
A typical day might begin with breakfast prepared in the Ibiza-style kitchen, followed by a short stroll down to the coast. With both Niu Blau and Cala Pada beaches less than 500 metres away, guests can easily alternate between swimming in the sea and returning to the villa's sunloungers.
Evenings often conclude with a barbecue in the garden or drinks on the roof terrace to watch the light change over the mountains.
Coastal walks and a refined marina town
The villa sits halfway between the towns of Santa Eulalia and Es Canar, connected to both by scenic coastal paths. Santa Eulalia, just 2.5 kilometres away, is known as the island's most refined and family-friendly municipality. Built around a palm-lined promenade and a smart marina, it remains active year-round.
The area is well-served with amenities, banks, and shops, making it highly practical for a week-long stay. Rather than a heavy party scene, the town focuses on dining, particularly along the gastronomic Calle San Vicente.
For a change of pace, the nearby inland villages of Jesús and Santa Gertrudis offer excellent restaurants and a relaxed atmosphere, while the sandy curve of S'Argamassa beach is also within easy reach.
