Architecture and atmosphere
Set within forty thousand square metres of private woodland, Villa Mariola offers a quiet base positioned evenly between Ibiza Town and Santa Eulalia. The property is surrounded by native pine trees, providing total privacy and a constant connection to the natural landscape. The long approach through the trees sets a relaxed tone from the moment you arrive.
The architecture merges clean, modern lines with the robust character of a traditional Spanish finca. Following a thorough renovation, the interiors feel both light and grounded, creating a calm environment for a summer stay. The thick walls associated with classic island design help moderate the temperature, while the fenced grounds and alarm system ensure complete peace of mind throughout your visit.
Inside the house and out by the pool
The main living space receives plenty of natural daylight, linking a modern, fully fitted kitchen with a comfortable sitting area arranged around a traditional fireplace. Satellite television, reliable Wi-Fi and a high-quality music system are installed for easy entertainment when you choose to stay indoors.
The house sleeps eight guests across four generously sized double bedrooms, supported by three well-planned bathrooms. Air conditioning is fitted exclusively in all the bedrooms to keep the summer nights cool and comfortable, while the thoughtful layout ensures privacy for everyone in the group.
Outside, the undeniable focal point is the twenty-metre lap pool, set within an authentic, carefully planted Ibicenco garden. The pool area is lined with comfortable sunloungers and parasols, and the water is artfully illuminated at night for late evening swims. Various terraces wrap around the property, providing shaded spots to read a book or gather away from the midday sun.
Daily life at the villa
With its generous outdoor spaces and practical layout, the house works exceptionally well for families, groups of friends or even small, private groups. The unusually large lap pool strongly appeals to those who enjoy a proper morning swim to start the day before the rest of the house wakes up.
A typical day here usually begins with fresh coffee on the main terrace, listening to the wind moving through the surrounding pine trees. After a morning spent rotating between the cool water of the lap pool and the sunloungers, afternoons are easily spent preparing long lunches in the modern kitchen.
As evening approaches, the outdoor spaces truly come into their own. The illuminated pool provides a striking visual backdrop for drinks on the terrace as the temperature drops, before guests either prepare dinner at home or take a short drive to one of the excellent local restaurants.
Exploring Santa Eulalia and beyond
The property sits in a highly practical position, exactly eight kilometres from both the energy of Ibiza Town and the coastal centre of Santa Eulalia. Reaching the charming village of Santa Gertrudis takes under ten minutes by car, offering easy access to its popular cafes, boutiques and local shops.
Santa Eulalia itself is widely known as the island's most refined municipality, built around a smart marina and a wide, palm-lined promenade. It remains calm, safe and well-served year-round, making it a firm favourite for those who appreciate good amenities and dining, particularly along the gastronomic Calle San Vicente, without the noise of the main clubbing resorts.
For days by the sea, the local coastline offers several excellent options within a short drive. The main beach of Santa Eulalia is wide, sandy and highly accessible, while the nearby pine-fringed coves of Cala Pada and S'Argamassa provide safe swimming waters and relaxed beach restaurants for a long, quiet lunch by the water.
